About the Event
In this monthly offering we offer a wonderful experience of sharing yogic and creative practices with a like minded community. You will walk away with new tools for coping with grief and ideas for home practice.
This 2 hour workshop is a self-care experience which will begin with a yoga sequence that will shake up your lymphatic system and meditation series to release and move your stuck energy; then we will transition into non-threatening, abstract/ expressive art-making.
Grief has affected all of us on a global scale. Grief is usually thought to be associated with the death of a loved one. Grief can and is also felt by the loss of a job, relationship, important event, lifestyle, climate change, injustice, war, the list goes on. To acknowledge we have experienced these losses is the first step in feeling better.
WHO THIS IS FOR:
Anyone who has experienced loss.
Anyone who has experienced heartache or grief and those who know or work with people who are experiencing grief.
VIRTUAL OR IN-PERSON:
We know that not everyone is ready to meet in person, and you still deserve self care! Once you book your ticket, a team member will reach out to get you set up for either the virtual or in-person option.
Yoga mat and blanket and/or meditation pillow; Paper, circle template, drawing and/ or painting supplies (colored pencils, markers, pastels, watercolors, acrylics) and glue (glue stick or white glue).
Join a community that comes together to support each other and learn new tools for coping with grief.
