Meet Kelly
As a somatic mental health therapist and yoga practitioner, I use a compassionate, whole person approach to counseling that allows you to explore your thoughts, feelings and actions in a safe, supportive and judgement free environment. Often I find people are missing the natural queues their bodies send and become disconnected to what is occurring within their own body. READ MORE
Kelly's Approach
My approach is very eclectic in nature. I draw from my own experiences, as well as the knowledge that I've gained in training over the last decade. My focus is on helping people to understand the things that have occurred in their lives, the belief systems and patterns that have emerged as a result of their life experiences. READ MORE
Meet Jessica
I believe isolation is one of the underlying key issues in most mental health concerns today. This is why I am so passionate about creating opportunities for experiencing quality connections through unique group offerings. As an Art Therapist and Kundalini Yoga teacher I am very aware of the benefits of sharing group energy to learn and grow together on our path of recovery. It can be challenging to find a group of people who support and encourage you to be your best self. At Oasis Well Being, we provide a safe, welcoming atmosphere to meet clients where they are and encourage the achievement of your goals.
I was born and raised in St Clair Shores, graduating from South Lake High School. Then I attended Warren Wilson College in Asheville, NC earning my BA in Art, Education and Environmental Studies. Five years later, I became a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor (through the Kundalini Research Institute). After marriage and two children, I decided to come back home to Michigan. In 2021, I earned my Masters in Art Therapy from Wayne State University. Currently, I am working to complete my masters (500 hr) in Kundalini Yoga. I love learning, refining my skills and helping others bloom.
Jessica's Approach
I am passionate about all things natural and creative. This drive has inspired me to build a career around art, yoga, nature and dance as healing modalities. My main goal is to provide clients with an experience of quality connection and self expression. Currently, I am available for art and yoga therapy offerings. I host monthly workshops for you to get your toes wet and experience what Art Therapy is all about. I also provide weekly series on a variety of topics which help you refine the concept of creative expression. Lastly, if you’d like to dive a little deeper, individual sessions are available for art and or yoga therapy sessions, usually lasting 90 minutes. In an individual session we can focus solely on your needs and goals instead of the broader goals focused on in group sessions.
